The entire system is connected to the internet without SSL
This is how the election system is set up. Storage of the files that recorded the votes are in Germany, the private company owning it is located in Spain.
Allied Security managed to change the votes in every single place that is part that makes up the electronic voting system.
The guy talking is Russell Ramsland from Allied Security Operations. He explains why he is doing this work.
