john, when you placed the member marker on the militia map, you literally placed it directly on the location of the home that you bought with your ex-wife before she left you. like, you gave me the GPS coordinates of your house, which i matched to your county property records.

now, timothy was helpful enough to put his first and last name, even his middle initial! in his signature while trying to incite a civil war. but oh goodness there are a lot of timothy martins out there!
but timothy is really so very, very helpful! he started his own militia online, you see, an army of 1. the 972 (his area code) 30 second men (because minute men aren't fast enough!) - look closely, that's an intersection! surely that's not his HOUSE, though right?
well NOT QUITE. the intersection of US 289 and Farm Road 83 in celina, TX is an insurance office. the collin county GIS lets you search for parcels by owner's name though and would you believe a timothy k martin owns a house a block away?
timothy is a 100% disabled veteran (at least according to the application he filed to not pay property taxes on his half million dollar home), so he doesn't work, which means he has a lot of spare time to try to incite others to violence online.
he's actively engaged in recruiting locals, like john welsh, into his militia & is using mymilitia to do it. he's been getting increasingly angry on the forum over the last few weeks.

oh the website has gotten very slow, i think it may have crashed. how sad for all the boys looking to join a right wing death squad online today!
honestly not even 100% certain whether or not these are trolls. you're all doing so great.
site moderator josh ellis (who ironically can't join any of the militias on the site because they nearly all prohibit felons) says they're having problems

posts like these are very funny & made me laugh! but more importantly: for every moment that site is down, the odds increase that some would-be rittenhouse doesn't log on & meet the guy who gives him a gun. it's entirely possible some shitposter with a heart of gold saved a life.
companies like @GoDaddy, @fluidhosting, and @Cloudflare can actually take action to get the mymilitia forum offline for good. as long as they shirk their responsibility, though, we can do our best to keep each other safe.
