Greed?
What's there to say about greed?
There's something grubby about it.
There's something weak & pathetic about it.
It's almost servile; a kind of inner grovelling neediness.
You make yourself the saddle in which THINGS ride.

Corporate greed:

United Utilities has the hard job of transporting water from the Lake District to Manchester.
In the last 6 months it made monopoly profits of £292m.
In the last 5 years the boss took home £12m.
Is that greedy enough for you?

Once in place they appoint consultants to run the PLC.

Re-structuring facilitates a takeover & after the takeover the bosses, consultants & shareholders get even richer.

For this the boss gets £2.4m despite most members voting against it. This yr he takes a cut, so'll only get £1.3m.
