A Female Cabinet

I've posed the idea of an all female Cabinet for Biden. I like this idea as it would continue to send a clear message of progress for women a century after the 19th.

While some may argue that an all female cabinet would exclude talented candidates...

I would argue that we've had roughly 200 years of all male cabinets so 1 iteration of just women hardly makes a dent in the overall balance of things. Further, I would contend that nearly every top female candidate is at least as qualified as any male candidate...

& would at least welcome the debate.

So, I'd like to propose a full cabinet list of women who I think would be ideal leaders for the Biden administration. In addition to whom I consider the best candidate or candidates, I also would like to include some out of the box...

candidates for purposes that appeal for various reasons but are unlikely to be realistic nominees.

I welcome any comments/suggestions/constructive debate on this subject.

Now, hear me out...

Is there any reason why she could not be appointed to the role w/o resigning her role as Veep? She's been the AG for CA & would be well suited to right the ship at the DOJ after Barr & know the issues from her time in the Senate...
Many wanted her for the role b4 her pick as VP.

If she couldn't legally do both, would resigning be the worst move? To begin, she could do the job in an "acting" capacity, bypassing any Senate oversight, & let her simply right the ship. If, after 6 mo. she could resign as VP,
having marked her place in history, as well as position herself to lead the DOJ which sounds more fun that VP, as well as easily run in 2024 should Biden serve 1 term (which I think would be sensible of him).

I think this is very unlikely but I like the idea, as it's out there.

First Lady Jill Biden - The 1st Lady has no actual responsibilities, so I bet Dr. Jill could find a way to negotiate both roles. And who better for Biden to entrust w/ our education system than a former teacher whom he knows & trusts?
It's time we gave the First Lady actual responsibilities so rescuing our Education system seems an eminent task for our First Lady, & seriously, can you think of anyone better?

Gina McCarthy - Former head of the EPA. I am in love with her, she is an absolute rock star with a wicked good accent, that's been missing since the Kennedy boys left (so... no JFK jr. sightings after all? sorry off track)
Alright, this next nominee is not exactly a cabinet position, but it stems from a side conversation on my SecState candidates.

I think the Biden Admin needs to request Congress re-authorize the Ethics in Gov Act which would resurrect the Office of Independent Counsel.
The Special Counsel statute proved to be an utter failure (sorry @neal_katyal); it didn't allow for a AG or WH that applied undue pressure or refused to cooperate with a Special Counsel. Mueller was directed not to investigate certain areas & his investigation stymied others.
We need a real examination of what happened during the current administration, the extent of the criminality, corruption & malfeasance. We need someone independent w/ the ability to follow every lead, & expose the facts. In short, we need a IC again to review this admin.

HRC - Yeah, I know... Okay, moving past that 1st emotional reaction/protestation, here's why she would be perfect:

She was on the Nixon Impeachment Inquiry team, as legal counsel.

She was the subject of a the last IC inquiry, under Starr
She's served in the State Dept, the Senate, lived in the WH for 8 years & is a Yale graduate lawyer (like the Supreme Court).

Okay, so the major counter argument is that she would be partisan...
Fine. If we had an IC to look into the Trump admin, no matter who it was, the Right (Fox, etc.) would label that person the most left wing partisan person on earth. Fine. Let's give them that then.
Knowing that she'll be viewed with outright denial from the Right, she'll need to build an airtight case that they can't simply argue, obfuscate away. They can't accuse bias, if we bake the bias in at the start.
And finally, it would be so, so poetic. I truly believe HRC should have been our president & we'd all be better off if she were president today. She's been the subject of "witch hunts" since the 90s, so letting her be on the other side of the table, asking questions...
not answering them for 11 hours w/o using the 5th. She's earned it, for a quarter of a century, she's been the GOP's "witch".

And no one could accuse her of going easy on donald.
