2/n Specifically, it states that Robertson is the MD of "pro-independence think-tank and polling organisation Progress Scotland." It is wrong to describe such a political front as a 'polling' company. 'Polling' is a neutrally-engaged process of sampling and opinion. 3/n
Polling companies have an important public responsibility, which is characterised by membership of the British Polling Council. PS is not a member of @BritPollingCncl, and instead is committed the elaborate confection of independence-favouring views based on biased samples. 4/n
