I then met my Brother in the Airport for tea and coffee as we crossed journeys
He was returning for a short trip home from Australia
I wouldn't see him for another 10 years

On this day, 30years ago, 7th November 1990
I grew up.
I learnt anxiety that day
I learnt how to understand it
Normalise it
Flow with it.
Lessons even today I still use.

Looking back, It was the start of a beautiful adventure.
And I reflect how lucky I was to have experienced it,
Before the internet
Before mobile phones
Still writing letters, and yes telegrams back then
