Today's list includes cricketers and riders who have reached the top of their game through hard work and determination, a young pupil who has developed a programme to assist the MFL department, a charity fundraiser, an outdoor chef and an example of outstanding EPQ study.

My favourite, however, is the 6th former who was spotted stopping during a torrential downpour having seen a pupil on crutches (not previously known to him) and going over to them and offering the cover of his umbrella as they went to lessons.Superb example of care and compassion
