one gets the feeling that Indian Leftists who hobnob with the Transatlantic Left, have a bizarre reverse 'moral burden'. They feel that while the West was on the right track with Marxism and Anti Colonialism and Progressivism, the West could get unique insights of solving

and approaching sociocultural issues by deconstructing caste & communalism in India (where premium on dignity of human life is no doubt low). In short they feel that the India's religious & ethnocultural diversity puts them well poised to teach the Anglo leftists 'real' Leftism.

(It is my personal theory that Nehru was of this brand and participated in the Indian Independence movement simply to bruise the egos of his Labour Oxford-Cambridge mates, the seminal gravity of the times be damned. On the topic of Nehru, will quickly mention:

IIRC he had 'corrected' Einstein's energy-mass equation. This kind of rabid SJWism is felt (speaking only for myself here) from other figures on the Indian RW with people like Shrikant Talageri & Subhash Kak who haphazardly 'correct' the work of Indologists on AIT & Etymology...

only to be, unfortunately for them, critically refuted and lampooned by Modern Academia with the bigger implication that the Indian RW is outright 'canceled' by them for not producing credible intelligentsia. Now, Arundhati Roy is by no means part of any credible intelligentsia

herself. She herself was dismissed as paranoid for by none other than Ramchandra Guha himself in his book 'India After Gandhi'. My motive for this spiel is that India is not in any economic position to engage in ANY sort of SJWism, whether it be of the LW and RW variety.

India, unfortunately today, is nothing more than the most wealthiest and desirable Socialist Banana Republic of the so called 'Third World', perhaps barring Brazil. With sub-Saharan level HDIs, per capita GDPs & infrastructure with potentially volatile internal civil strife..

...it is extremely important to build a credible intelligentsia in India that actively supports scientists, SANE historians, archaeologists ( @GarudaJana can attest the huge deficit in archaeological work), etc people who focus more on reality than preaching fantasies to the West.
