his pravachans, which everyone would listen to devotionally everyday. One day some goons were let loose on the intent to end Swamiji's life. In the middle of the pravachan, they made a surprise attack on Swami Karpatriji with iron rods. Other swamis shielded him, but+

he became unconscious and had suffered injuries to his eyes, and more so in one eye. He was rushed to a doctor who later said that it was difficult to treat him and blindness in one eye is imminent. (Upon release he had traditional treatment, did Surya upaasna, followed the+
