I always found it interesting how "human rights" groups latched into a problematic character like Adrian Zenz simply because he's saying something that people want to hear. For those same people, had he been saying anything else, his problematic beliefs would have been an issue. https://twitter.com/MaxBlumenthal/status/1208837915687706624
I've got one that really drives this serious cognitive dissonance issue point home far better than Adrian Zenz. Meet Cory Selby. A convicted animal abuser who killed his dogs, lived with their rotting corpses, and refused to do his community service in an animal shelter.
He's a YouTuber whose been struggling to get views and ironically makes videos about animal abuse issues in China without any sense of irony or shame.
Reading through his comments, you get the sense that his community is full of xenophobic societal misfits who should just be ignored, but now he's been retweeted by the high-profile NED funded activist @RushanAbbas. Rushan knows about Cory, as her staff had been told about him.
They would have known not only known about Cory's heinous crimes, but they would have also known about his extreme xenophobia towards Chinese people, as made apparent by the video in the thread I shared with them.
Rushan was also tagged in this conversation where Cory spouted some pretty vile stuff that gave an even deeper look into the type of person he is, yet Rushan still kept her Cory retweet online.
One of the more concerning things is that Cory shows all the signs that come with psychopathic killers who start on animals and move onto people. He has even admitted to making a video where he emulated Luka Magnotta, the animal killer who killed a Chinese student in Montreal.
For those of you who don't know there was a documentary about Luka Magnotta. After starting with killing animals, he later strapped a young Chinese student to a bed naked, stabbed him to death with an ice pick, and then dismembered him bit by bit while filming it.
Another possible warning sign is shown here. Cory loves to depict "pro-China" YouTubers (as he likes to call them) being shot in the head with a sniper.
The most concerning thing - When he skipped the country to avoid his community service, he came to China to find a Chinese wife. All traces of her have since been wiped from his channel and be keeps saying she's in the bathroom during his livestreams when asked....
Cory is back in America now, outside of the jurisdiction/state where there's an active arrest warrant out on him, but in the meantime, perhaps unsurprisingly, the Anti-China NGO community has begun to embrace him with open arms. This is the state of Anti-China propaganda folks.
