10 yrs back, as we launched @BBFSchools, our first event was an inter-school tournament to spread awareness.
A few months later, @bhaichung15 remembered a kid in the U12 category who would dribble past opponents at will. He suggested we should train such players for free.

We traced back the school, got in touch with the sports teacher, identified the boy, and asked him to join our academy. He told us that he had never trained formally and his neighborhood park was his only getaway.(2/6)
Today, the boy is 22 years old and is known as Mahip Adhikari. He played for our professional club @GarhwalFC in the recent @ILeagueOfficial Qualifiers. Not surprisingly, he caught the eye of many to emerge as the most exciting young talent in the competition. (3/6)
Based on his performance, he has secured a three-year contract with @GokulamKeralaFC.
It took Mahip ten years to reach the I-League from his neighborhood park. And he has another ten years to reach the pinnacle of his football career. (4/6) https://www.gokulamkeralafc.com/gokulam-kerala-fc-sign-upcoming-talent-mahip-adhikari/

As for @BBFSchools, there couldn't be a better way to celebrate our tenth anniversary than placing our first-ever scholar in the country's top league.
What Mahip taught us: Be patient. Be consistent. Work hard.
