Stop looking for products to keep your hair “moisturized.” Can products help with retaining moisture? Absolutely. However, water evaporates from the hair within 4-7 days so there is no keeping the hair “moisturized.”
And stop relying on styling products to create what’s not there. Curls aren’t made in a bottle. Think of a product as an enhancer. For instance, *IMO* gel captures your curls/coils/waves the best (for wash+go’s) but it’s not going to give you what you do not have.
Shift your focus to the consistency of your cleansing (with SHAMPOO) and conditioning. Cleansing is the first step to getting water into your hair. Conditioning traps the water in, essentially. Be sure to cleanse and condition every 7-10 days.
