This is the circumstances that led to his arrest.
He left his white Ford van in a parking lot of a Kannapolis, NC bank long enough that the employees of the bank called the police about it.
Local police arrived and looked in the windows of the van and saw weapons.

The bank manager wanted the van towed, which allowed the police to start searching it off-site.
They found: 8 guns, a cannister of explosives, $500k in cash, disturbing drawings & books about how to commit terrorism.
Some of that was visible through the window!!

A few hours later when A.T. returned to the bank (in his other car) & asked where his van went..the BANK EMPLOYEES had to call the cops A 2ND TIME to let them know he came back!
None of the cops waited around?!
