I just wanted to say a few things about King Von. He came to visit @billboard running with Durk’s entourage in early 2018 and I had no idea he rapped. I remember joking with him that he looked like Alvin Kamara that day actually 
Next Time Durk visited the office he actually played me Von’s music for me in late 18/early 19 saying he was up next.
I ended up writing about Von on our Artists to Watch list for 2020 earlier this year.
Von comes back to the Billboard office in February as the lead dog with an entourage of his own. Now he’s wearing iced out watches on both hands and enjoying success in the driver’s seat less than two years later.
He’s got a way about him of being funny without even trying to be and his storytelling as a rapper was improving by the song and it was a matter of time until he became a force. It’s a shame his time was cut so short. #RIP #WeNotFrom63rd
