i’m tipsy so time for some unpopular opinions

i don’t get the insistence that we should never refer to ben as kylo ever again. it’s almost like a taboo in reylo fandom to call him that now. kylo is part of who he is
and always will be. to me the names are still interchangeable

sometimes i get the sense that people write or draw kinks just to do something different and not because they’re actually drawn to said kink? which is valid! for me i just have to like, be *into* the kink itself to actually want to create content that includes it
some people have a preference for ben over rey and that’s ok! for the large part i don’t think it’s indicative that you have internalized misogyny or find her uninteresting or w/e. preferences are just preferences sometimes. we can’t always control who we’re drawn to!
we need to get past the mindset that just because a person in fandom didn’t wrong *you* personally means they get a free pass on shitty behavior towards others. hold people accountable, even your friends
kylo’s hair in TFA > TLJ and TROS. i will not take criticism
actually kylo’s whole LOOK in TFA > TLJ and TROS. if you think the good boy sweater outranks the cowl and mask we can’t be friends. jk. mostly

i don’t mind when modern rey’s backstory involves her growing up in foster care but i think it’s overused especially plutt as her foster dad. there are other ways to explore her abandonment issues than making her a foster kid. don’t ask me what they are right now tho bc drunk

same goes for leia as a senator. i am very guilty of this!!! but i can admit it’s overused as hell lol
more a$$ eating in fics thank you very much!!!
more fics where rey’s the one who chases ben!! and it takes awhile for him to return her feelings. the angst of it all!
dark fuck prince kylo has rights

sometimes i just want him to be straight up NASTY you know?

first person fics are valid and not nearly as offputting to read as some make them out to be. put aside the assumptions they suck and give them a read luv!
i don’t like tentacles i’m sorry
there are a few fic exceptions that i’ve loved. i think it’s the sliminess/cold suction factor that squicks me out. imagining that on your
...no ma’am

last one then i’ll shut up: i LOVE darkfic but i think more boundary pushing for what’s considered “dark” would be interesting to explore. not just noncon or torture and other popular dark themes. human beings can be dark but still capable of good you know? let’s talk about that!
