On 7 November 2017 I went to work with a sore back. By lunchtime I felt ill & ended up going home early. By 11pm I was lying on a bed in A&E.

At lunchtime on 8 November 2017 I was diagnosed with #SecondaryBreastCancer aka #MetastaticBreastCancer aged 33.

They gave me 6 months.
My life changed completely in 36 hours. But thanks to @GlosCancerServ1 & @royalmarsdenNHS I'm still here and stubbornly carrying on!

I've done a lot in the last 3 years, but there is so much more I want to do & see.

I ❀ everything about my life (apart from #cancer & #COVID19).
I still work full time in a job I love.

I've visited animal sanctuaries & hand fed lions, rhinos, giraffes & tigers. I've flown eagles & seen bears! 😍

When #COVID19 allows me to I visit my beloved Stiffkey in Norfolk.

I have an incredible husband ❀

I'm not dead yet! đŸ’Ș😀
But tragically thousands of British people are dying every week of #cancer.

31 British women a day die of #BreastCancer alone.

Yet we are denied access to drugs that could extend our lives. The unfortunately named NICE doesn't deem lives like mine to be worth saving.

#IAmThe31
@metupukorg believe that it doesn't have to be like this. They believe that women like me are worth investing in.

@ICR_London did a fantastic #DrugAccessReport.

@Make2ndsCount funds vital research.

Change is coming which will save lives. Please consider supporting that change.
