W/the excitement about #Election2020 , let’s look at how Arab Americans helped @JoeBiden win key states.

Biden won Dearborn MI w/it’s high % of Arab Americans basically 70-30. (just Biden-v-Trump).

Let’s explore some early provisional numbers:

In Arab American Dearborn MI, Biden crushed Trump 30,600 to 13,100.

Extrapolating across MI, that’s probably 90,000 Arab American votes for Biden, who won MI by only 148,000 votes, that’s nearly 2/3 of Biden’s MI win.

Extrapolating from the Dearborn vote, how much did Arab-Americans help Biden in close races?

-PA at least 60,000 Arabs voted for Biden who is ahead by 19,000 votes

-WI >8,000 Arabs voted for Biden ahead by 20,000 votes

-GA >15,000 Arabs voted for Biden ahead by 4,000 votes

But in reality Arab Americans may've helped Biden much more! Look at how the most heavily Arab American precincts voted in 2016, we see that 82% of Arab Americans voted for Hillary which'd mean 109,000 Arab votes in MI; 70,000 in PA; 9,000 in WI & 18,000 in GA.

While silly for or any one ethnic or religious community to claim their votes secured any candidate the victory, it's pretty Arab Americans made a huge difference in 2020.
