Many Trump folks had no disciplining force in their media consumption to prepare them for the possibility that opposition might be both massive and legitimate. Seeing a huge Biden vote must be epistemologically bewildering. Of course the votes must be fake, the election rigged.

Ironically many Democrats spent the last four years absolutely convinced Trump could win again, only to reach election night and get emotionally mislead by state polls that were themselves not indicative of how close Trump would in fact get again.

The whole self-interested reason for wanting discipline in your media diet (actual journalism, lol) is to gain information you might need to protect yourself! Instead Trump supporters got four years of "paid protestors," "fake news," George Soros, fake ballots. No preparation.
