So I’ve been thinking about how people stanning politicians bothers me.

I’ve admired people, wanted to learn from their experiences, but I’ve been intentional in the way I try to view the person before me.

As someone who’s body has led people to make assumptions about who I
Am my entire life, my personality. I’ve lived my own by the motto: “give people the chance to make a 2nd first impression.” By no means does this mean to treat people like they’re angels you may have just caught on a bad day the first time you meant them, but it’s a reminder
For YOU to pay attention to their actions, measure them by those actions and give people the grace to change and grow their viewpoints and course (within reason). See people as people first, including their capacity to fail either once or continuously.

No one is deserving of
Complete allegiance just because through the lens of the public eye, they’re seen as admirable.
