It has become painfully obvious that we not only need to spend more time teaching Civics & American Gov in our schools to our youth but more importantly offer classes to their parents. The overwhelming ignorance about how our government works is appalling. #moresocialstudies

And all these people yapping incoherently about socialism. Good gracious! Where do these people think they live? Fantasy land? Social Security, Medicare, agricultural subsidies, bank bailouts, child labor laws & on & on & don’t get me started on “the deep state” or voting fraud.

You have an opinion? Great! But at least do the due diligence needed before you voice it. I thought Chicken Pox was a dessert when I was a kid. I heard it Pop instead of Pox. I quietly asked around & found out it was no delicious treat but rather a highly contagious disease.

We can do a minimum of well rounded study on a subject B4 we open up our mouths instead of just listening 2 one news source or a pathological liar & then verbally vomiting the 200 proof ignorance cocktail we’ve been imbibing & further eroding any attempt at intelligent discourse.

You SHOULD have an opinion on politics & societal problems & gov’t & the total catastrophe that the Red Dawn remake was. But you don’t NEED to have a completely asinine or ignorant opinion. That’s on YOU! Read. Take in multiple views consistently. Listen. And always be a student.
