Notice in the state-wide hospitalization rates, there was a big spike in March, with a high point on March 22nd of about 12%. Since that time, there has been no other time that the hospitalization rate has even come close to 10%, but rather the rates have rarely even hit 5% and
are not trending up, even though the per capita numbers have been increasing. I would suggest that this metric is a more telling statistic than per-capita and should be strongly considered as the preferred metric to govern how restrictive we need to be.
