The release is all acoustic for two reasons. 1 - I wanted to challenge myself to NOT go nuts with 100 tracks and overproduction. 2 - my "music" room is now my daughter's art studio so I have very little access to my guitars & drums right now

I had teased this release a few times here on Twitter and you may have missed it. That's OK. I miss a lot of stuff all the time. I 100% admit I got the idea from Future Teens' "Sensitive Sessions" which I've been playing a LOT the past few months.
The EP (or maxi-single or whatever) was recorded in my bedroom over the course of a few weeks. Just one guitar and one vocal track. It's pretty raw actually - pick scraping, my foot thumping on the floor, and I kind of dig that.
OK now onto the songs! First track is the new one, "Silence Fell Between". I wrote it for the Letters In Fall EP but wasn't 100% thrilled with it. I changed a lot of the chords and made it a lot better. It's about the "Fallen Warrior" chapter in DH. https://creeveycrisis.bandcamp.com/track/silence-fell-between
Up next is "The Weaker Path" from Not Standing Silent. The original feel was more about Harry trashing an office. This is more about Dumbledore's remorse. https://creeveycrisis.bandcamp.com/track/the-weaker-path-acoustic
"Cast Aside" likewise moves from the justified anger of the original to some real melancholy over how dirty Lavender got done in the books. Screw the author. https://creeveycrisis.bandcamp.com/track/cast-aside-acoustic
"Diadem" was on VII which is my fave Crisis album of all time. Prog-metal concept album about the horcuxes? How can you NOT love that? Crabbe realized right at the end that WHOOPS he was wrong. Very, very wrong. https://creeveycrisis.bandcamp.com/track/diadem-acoustic
"Dangerous Times" was on Throwing Eyes Into Forests and was written based on the political weight we were all feeling at the time. I love the riff in both downtuned distortion as well as Sus chords acoustic. https://creeveycrisis.bandcamp.com/track/dangerous-times-acoustic
"Dear Tom" sounds completely different here and I like that. Yeah it's the 3rd time now I've recorded it. So what? I do what I want. I'll take every chance to show off what a BAMF book Ginny was. https://creeveycrisis.bandcamp.com/track/dear-tom-acoustic
So there's your thread. Hopefully the tweets and the music helps relieve a little of the pressure and anxiety I bet you've all been feeling because god knows I sure need a drink right about now. Go download it and have fun.
