I've been having a think (it happens once in a while) about what teams have impressed me since starting D3D4 Football...🤔⚽️

So in the thread below are the five sides I've enjoyed covering the most since 2016/17 😎🤙💥

Starting with...No5⤵️
5⃣: Crewe Alexandra (2019-20)

Manager: David Artell
Pts: 69
Position: 2nd

Home grown talent come good. It was great to see #CreweAlex finally reach their potential and do so without splashing the cash.

Flowing football and a division high 67 goals score were a joy to watch.
4⃣: Barnsley (2018-19)

Manager: Daniel Stendel
Pts: 91
Position: 2nd

#barnsleyfc were expected to be strong after relegation but some of their football was superb.

Led by Kieffer Moore & Cauley Woodrow in attack and anchored by Alex Mowatt they overran sides. All round good.
3⃣: Accrington Stanley (2017-18)

Manager: John Coleman
Pts: 93
Position: 1st

League Two champions! What a great season for Stanley.

Jordan Clark, Billy Kee & Sean McConville were all stars in a side that went 15 league games unbeaten between Feb and mid-April. Worthy Champs🏆
2⃣: Luton Town (2018-19)

Manager(s): Nathan Jones & Mick Harford
Pts: 94
Position: 1st

Luton were delicious to behold in 2018-19. James Collins proved he was the real deal. James Justin & Jack Stacey are one of the best full-back pairings seen in the third-tier.

Loved it #LTFC
1⃣: Shrewsbury Town (2017-18)

Manager: Paul Hurst
Pts: 87
Position: 3rd

Although it ended in heartbreak, #Salop were a fine example of what a well-run club can achieve. No real stars but a great team.

15 games unbeaten to start the season was just brilliant! An example to all
