New York State Senate update: Dems currently lead in 37 races and should easily keep all of those seats after mail ballots are counted
Democrats will definitely go ahead in 2 more seats once all ballots are counted: SD-38 and SSD-40

They have a good shot to go ahead in two more, SD-22 and SD-50, which would get them to 41 seats (one shy of a supermajority)
But the 42nd seat looks very tough unless more Democratic absentee ballots arrive from the post office (ballots can arrive until Monday) - SD-5 and SD-6 are conceivable but a real stretch with current numbers
