As I think about the accomplishments of those that came before us and those currently working and resisting I am reflecting on the lyrics of “Don’t you worry bout a thing”. Black women have been courageous and faith-filled - organizing, leading, researching, writing, forgiving,
and loving unconditionally.
Find one, amplify her, get behind her, and watch her work, you may learn something if you listen. Shout out to #StaceyAbrams for her visionary leadership and thinking! #55percent

Black women bring their bags back empty every day. Pouring into, teaching, sharing, and giving,in kind. Never concerning ourselves with keeping it from others even though we know we’ll be erased and undervalued and still we press on.
