Many of you will be aware of the deeply worrying and upsetting social media campaign from Horizon Fostering. Today, they posted this tweet 1/ https://twitter.com/hfostering/status/1324736827975225346
However, they appear to have a very close relationship with their marketing company 👇👇2/
Why does this matter? It matters because it seems very likely they were aware of, indeed presumably had a direct hand in, the promotional material going out under their name. And it means that the promotional material reflects Horizon Fostering’s attitude towards...3/
...and approach to caring for foster children. It has never just been about the harm the tweets in isolation would cause, but about a complete lack of empathy and understanding about what children in care need. 4/
Once again I implore the leadership of Horizon Fostering to take up one of the offers of consultation they have received, it is not melodramatic to say the lives and life chances of children depend on it. 5/5
