Slapping a set of headers on the C8 convertible will be a fun project.

Nice oil filter access.
OEM headers are now visible with the heat shields out of the way. They route upwards and meander into the cat.

Also pictured, the aftermarket replacements.
Enlarge the picture and you’ll see a finned box, what I think is the transmission oil cooler.
Three bolts on each side to remove the engine cover. When the top is down, it goes between it and the the engine.
First header out. Five bolts. Pulled up up and out.
Passenger’s side being difficult. Oil filler blocks the path a bit.
Both stock manifolds out. In this pic you can see the remote oil tank, front left of the engine.
With the manifolds out, you can actually see the plugs and coil packs from the top. And look at all this room for... turbos!!
