I’ve got some things to get off my chest. This election has depressed me. Not because it looks like Biden will win, I can accept that, if it’s fair, because I’m not a child. It depresses me because he will win via the most blatant voter fraud effort in history. 1/14
I’m repulsed that such a large portion of the country simply doesn’t care, so long as their guy wins. Where the hell did we go so wrong? When did we stop caring about the principles of this nation? 2/14
I’m not going to pretend that people have ever been angels, and that these types of attitudes are new, but it still feels like that we as a nation have totally lost our way. The division between us is completely unfixable now. 3/14
The Left hasn’t accepted the results of an election since 2000, when Bush fairly won an election that Al Gore tried to steal in the courts. They claim that elections are illegitimate when they lose, as a means to harm their political opponents. 4/14
It’s a desperate and pathetic tactic right out of the Alinsky handbook. But now, via their blatant cheating, they are going to succeed in making sure that the other side won't accept the results of any elections either, but for good reason. 5/14
And we shouldn’t accept them, especially when it’s clear that the other side is stealing them. I don’t know how the Republic survives this. How do we survive one side just creating the votes they need to win? This is Banana Republic style bullshit. 6/14
Yesterday, I got my oil changed at this little quick lube here in the town that I work. It’s a small town of only 3,500 people. I struck up a conversation with a woman (in her 50s) who was also waiting on her car. 7/14
I mentioned that it was neat that she was video calling her deaf parents, so she could sign with them. She turned the conversation immediately to the election. She asked me who I voted for, I said Trump, and she admitted that she too voted for him. 8/14
She told me how angry she was that it seemed that it was being stolen from him. The mechanic came in to take my payment, and he heard the conversation, and immediately chimed in, and noted his disgust as well. 9/14
My point with this is that people, even simple folk in Nowheresville, AR, are watching this unfold, and they are not happy. They aren't hiding it, and people are paying attention. We cannot let this stand. If they succeed here, we have to absolutely crush them in 2 years. 10/14
We have to make the backlash so severe that they never try this ever again. Congressional elections matter. State, county, city elections, they all matter. I love this country, I love the ideas of this country, I love being free, and I love that my neighbor is free. 11/14
You might hate Trump, that's fine, but the way this man has been treated by the political machine for 5 years now is absolutely unbelievable. They are trying to make sure that no one ever again gets in the way of the way the machine works. That's frightening. 12/14
This is enraging me in a way I never have been before. I'm actually thinking of getting involved with local politics, even if just to help out in campaign offices, doing whatever needs to be done. I refuse to just watch this country die, and I really hope it's not too late. 13/14
Have a wonderful day and a wonderful weekend, my friends. Thanks for listening to my rambling thoughts, I know I'm not super eloquent. lol. I just needed to vent. 14/14
