Most Trump supporters are caught up in the "socialist", "commie" rhetoric. This is a mirror image of leftists yelling "racist" at the right.

The American left isn't "socialist" or "communist" but pawns in the Banana Republic game. What does that mean?

If you look at any unstable tinpot Banana Republic regime in Latin America, there is no shortage of "leftists" but they are controlled by a small number of extremely wealthy/obscenely rich insiders. That is what happens in Banana Republics.

This is not to deny that there aren't people on the left with very sincere beliefs but they are simply tools to be used by the insiders as it suits their purposes. They are pawns and most do not realise it.
