Woke up this morning to even more anchors and pundits putting platitudes about “working class Americans” and how troubled they are about Dems losing tight races for Senate and the narrow margins for Biden.

Let me say one thing about that: POPPYCOCK.

What you mean is you want Dems to dig a tunnel for racists. You think progressives who are fighting for social justice should sit down and stop “spooking” white people into voting against their own interests.

You don’t think Dems should embrace their diversity, nor should Black women have enough political power to control the base. You don’t say that about white evangelicals. I wonder why?

Nearly every morale question this nation has confronted about itself came on the backs of Black people. It is our blood, our skin that burned. And now, rather than shine a light on where that political power comes from...

Rather than explore what motivates Black people to keep loving a country, to keep fighting to perfect this Union, you spend every portion of your energies looking for ways to marginalize that impact.

My American franchise is not up for dispute. There will be no debate about my humanity. Me and mine are out here literally saving this republic from a mendacious authoritarian jackass with the intellect and moral compass of a lug nut.

And you cannot even fix your mouth to say “thank you.” /fin
