Dahes father named dhu-alaqal (ذو العقال) and owned by a man named Hout (حوط) who never let it mate with other Horses. One-day the daughters of Hout took dhu-alaqal for riding.
In the same time, they were two young lads from a another tribe riding female horse named julwa (جلوى)

Hout saw dhu-alaqal and immediately knew that he mate it with other horse and he questioned his daughters and they told him everything
With raging anger, he went to the other tribe and he demand it Julwa Abortion.
They tried to explain it was his horse fault. He wouldn't listen

The other tribe didn't want to start a war and asked him to do it himself. He agreed and went to julwa mixing his hand with water and sand. then he entered his hand to bring up the water but it was too late! He grabbed a foal and brought it out from Julwa!
It was a healthy baby horse that looked like dhu-alaqal. Named Dahes because Dahes in Arabic a verb when someone enters his hand between the skin and the flesh while he is skinning something!
That was the birth of the legendary Horse that later will start a war famous for its champions and poets
