TYPES OF AVTAAR(INCARNATION)

There are three types of Avtaars
1) Nitya avtaar.
2) Prakritik avtaar.
3) Nimitik avtaar.

1) Nitya Avtaar:- Whenever the bhakts remember him, Ishwar takes an Avtaar. Eg In Dwapar the Krishna avtaar happened.

2) Prakritik Avtaar:- This happens when Ishwar mandatorily takes avtaar after the Yug changes.

3) Nimitik avtaar:- This happens when Ishwar appears for reason for eg for establishing Dharma over Adharma.
Apart from this we can count STHANIYA avtaar. As mentioned in the Purans and Dant katha, Ishwar has appeared many times in many forms.
