Those going on about how @BBhuttoZardari statement about @NawazSharifMNS to the BBC opens up a split within PDM have obviously not read carefully beyond the headlines, much less heard the interview. So here’s a word by word translation from the BBC report...
“Let me clarify that it [forcing military chiefs to resign] is neither part of our [PDM’s] resolution nor is it our demand. As far as taking names is concerned, I believe, and I’m sure, that Mian Sahib [Nawaz Sharif] would not have taken any names without evidence ...>
...and these kind of allegations should only come forward on the basis of evidence. I don’t adopt this practice for my party that I directly take names in rallies. But it is Mian Sb’s right to take such a position if he wants.” ...>
“Bilawal Bhutto said that ‘As far as Mian Nawaz Sharif is concerned, he has been prime minister thrice and I am certain that he would not have taken names without clear and solid evidence. These are not the sort of allegations you make on anyone just like that in a rally. ...>
...At the moment the problem is that because of covid, I have not been able to meet Nawaz Sharif directly, which is very necessary, so I can meet and discuss this issue openly with him.’”
