People with HIGHER educational qualifications & HIGHER household income are following the rules less strictly
GENDER
Across the pandemic, women have experienced higher depression (36% higher), anxiety (50% higher) and loneliness and lower life satisfaction (5% higher) and happiness. Women have also been more stressed about catching or becoming seriously ill from the virus.

ETHNICITY
People from BAME backgrounds have lower confidence in the government to handle the pandemic and the ability of the health service to cope.
They also have worse mental health across every measure: depression (15% higher), anxiety (30% higher), wellbeing (3% lower).

LONG-TERM CONDITIONS
People with LTCs are complying more with the rules but are more concerned about becoming seriously ill from the virus and are experiencing worse mental health.
