As promised, today's chat is all about the journey to the PhD. Everyone's experience is different & we'd like to showcase that!

What was your route to your PhD? Anything you wish you'd known? Please RT and get involved with #HistoryLabConfab & #MyPhDJourney. Visuals welcome!
To get us started, here are some examples from our committee. First, @EllenCSSmith. Ellen did her BA and MA at the Uni of Birmingham, with internships in between. She's now in her second year of her PhD at the @uniofleicester #HistoryLabConfab #MyPhDJourney
Next, @kerrymlove. Kerry started at Uni of Northampton, moved to Warwick for an MA, and then went to work in Finance - but history research was calling to her! She's now in the second year of her PhD @HistoriansUON. #HistoryLab #MyPhDJourney
We shared it yesterday, but here's @Smudge2492's journey. She's been at @BathSpaUni throughout. She did her MA part time and has worked in between each degree, including a job at Bath Spa Uni SU. She's now in her third year of her PhD #HistoryLabConfab #MyPhDJourney
And here's @Witchy_Nat's journey. Natalie is a Uni of Nottingham gal - thanks to an MA scholarship, she was able to go straight from BA to MA to PhD and is now in her third year of her PhD @UonHistory. #HistoryLabConfab #MyPhDJourney
And now, over to you! If you want to share your own timelines, we'd love to see them! But you're also welcome tweet us and let us know how you got to where you are now. #HistoryLabConfab #MyPhDJourney
