DJT was leading big until certain Rust Belt states froze their ballot return reports. When reporting resumed, DJT began to lose steadily. It was not until 2004 that the man who served as Mexico's president in '88 admitted that the whole thing was an elaborate ruse. When it became clear that the PRI was getting its a$$ handed to it by populists, it stopped reporting ballot returns so new ones could be manufactured.

Obviously, the Democrats have studied this election very closely and they are now seeking to emulate it. Stopping the steal is not about left or right, but preventing America from sliding further into third-world nationhood. Pure and simple.
