I know DMing isn't for everyone, but being able to create a story I share with my friends and watch them explore and build upon it is truly a pleasure and a privilege.

But I also want to talk about something I realized the past few days - a big thing about DMing is that you don't know what happens next. You have to anticipate many different potential outcomes...

DMing can be nerve-racking at the best of times, but to my fellow DMs and GMs who have been holding down a game for the past who-knows-how-long: if you're feeling extra anxiety about your game right now, perhaps give this some consideration, and then cut yourself some slack.
