Id be surprised if there was a single person in America who decides what they believe because a Twitter authority told them what to believe. But this whole process is probably deligitimizing social media platforms to half the country... https://twitter.com/gjpappin/status/1324580078135771156
Silicon Valley is full of people who think they can sort of nudge folks into believing whatever they want but that kind of social planning usually backfires and it's not going to be pretty for tech cos, on top of all the other influence they try to exert (Prop 22).
From what I understand about Dorsey and Zuckerberg is they didn't want to be in the Arbiter of Truth role but they seem to fear both their own ultra partisan staff and government regulation so they decided they need to do one-sided refereeing to ward off those threats.
What it will result in ultimately is a more balkanized Internet where conservatives just don't trust these websites whereas liberals don't get these warnings despite completely false claims on Dem side (like Hunter Biden stories being "Russian disinformation").
So setting out to try to nudge conservatives into the Dem worldview will just push them out altogether because they aren't dumb, they get the game. It's a predictable result.
