I am an election worker.

I have worked tirelessly for weeks, sometimes seven days a week with no days off. On Election Day I worked from 6 am until 11 pm: a 17-hour day. I did all this, and during a pandemic, because I want voting to be enjoyable and accessible to everyone.
When you attack election workers, you attack me. You attack my friends. You attack some of the most intelligent, kind, and conscientious citizens our nation has.
So kindly f@#$ off with your conspiracy theories and "Stop the Count!" BS. You are inciting violence against my co-workers, against me.
This election was already difficult enough for election workers. I personally witnessed several racist attacks from Trump supporters towards my Asian co-workers at my vote center, ...
...and several friends of mine who also worked the election at other vote centers were similarly verbally attacked for being Asian. Trump supporters stalked and circled vote centers in Sunnyvale in trucks. And all this just in California!
All this, which pales in comparison to how voters in other states were treated. Some voters were tear-gassed by law enforcement on their way to vote.

Trump brings out the worst in people.
This is why, as I said last night, I do not want you in my life if you support Trump. When you enable and empower people who want to intimidate and hurt election workers, I take it personally. And I refuse to tolerate such immoral behavior.
