If you're looking to support work in Georgia to help flip our TWO U.S. Senate races, consider supporting our work @AsianAAF. https://secure.actblue.com/donate/aaaf

Aside from all the great voter contact numbers, here are some of the other cool things we were able to do to turn our AAPI voters:
Created/distributed videos in SIX different languages breaking down the process to Vote by Mail. The vast majority of our voters had never Voted by Mail...some of them, hadn't voted at all.
Launched a substantial campaign ( #MoveWithGwinnett) to encourage our voters in Gwinnett County to Vote YES on the Gwinnett Transit Referendum. From what I've seen...we were the only ones who went all out to talk to our voters about this key issues.
Answered hundreds of questions on our in-language voter question hotlines about everything from tracking your absentee ballot, looking up where to vote early, and helping people verify their voter registration status.
Published op-eds, voter education, and candidate ads across Korean, Vietnamese, and South Asian media. These were AMAZING.
Worked with amazing coalition partners to help oust TWO anti-immigrant sheriffs in Gwinnett + Cobb counties. We're on track for both of these counties to get rid of their 287g agreements with ICE.
Created scorecard and educational materials for the two Public Service Commission races and translated them into multiple languages! We helped SO many people understand the importance of these statewide races.
Did some good old fashioned relational organizing and helped convince a LOT of non-voters to show up and vote -- many for the first time, ever!
Hit nearly ONE MILLION voter contact attempts through in-person (pre-covid) canvassing, phones, and texts. A vast majority of this number was on the phones --- and in multiple languages!
Endorsed/supported 43+ candidates in local, state, and federal races (including both Jon Ossoff + Raphael Warnock). Some of our races are still being called -- but we're VERY proud of our candidates whose races have already been called.
All of this work is done centering the issues important to Asian Americans and immigrants in Georgia. Our scripts, our ads, our messaging -- is not about flipping the state or parties. It's about what these wins mean for our community.
Even after the run-off, we'll be here to push our elected leaders on these issues. We'll be pushing to end local immigration enforcement efforts, for equity in schools, for access to drivers licenses for undocumented people, for tuition equity, and language access at the polls.
So, if you want to help make sure Asian American voters are engaged (I mean, TRULY engaged) in the upcoming run-off -- consider supporting us! You can learn more about us https://www.asianamericanadvocacyfund.org/ .
