Not every problem is about class. Some problems are about racism. In America, a great many problems are about racism. The Democratic party's problem is that too many voters in too many states feel that all they have left is their whiteness, their status in a racial hierarchy.
I believe in universal healthcare. I support M4A. (That latter bit is an announcement, btw.) Biden didn't lose Iowa 2 Trump b/c he didn't support M4A. He lost Iowa 2 Trump b/c Trump campaigned on reviving & buttressing the racial hierarchy that elevates poor whites over all POC.
That's the whole point of racism! It is a distraction for working-class white folks. It is a ruse. It is a shiny object to distract working-class white people from their own exploitation.
