NYPD are apparently making arrests in lower Manhattan at the weekly trans liberation march right now.
Planning to barricade the whole area (around Broadway and Bond)
NYPD kettled and started arresting people before playing an LRAD dispersal order and without any indication of cause for arrest. Footage forthcoming.

The dispatches from the scanners before they started moving in all had a really tense, shrill tone to all their voices. They were fully freaked out about the crowd. Amazing what 500 demonstrators can do.
NYPD SRG bike cop appears to ride into...literally nothing.
He falls over, SRG bikes surround a few people walking in the street, violently pull and arrest at least two of them. All was calm prior to this. They literally rushed the crowd because a cop fell off his bike.

Looks like he either was attempting to reach out to the person/grab something or put his arm out as he fell but there's... nothing in his way and he just goes right down.
Heard over scanners cops finally remembering they're supposed to run on a parallel avenue to the march, not inside the march itself.
LRAD spotted over by Union Square. March numbers have fallen and SRG sounds way less stressed out. My guess is they made some arrests to scare people into bailing so the group would winnow into a more "manageable" size.
