Discourse around transmisogyny and terms used by trans women, transfems, and other TMA people is so exhausting. I'm just going to lay out a few of my stances so feel free to soft or hardblock me if you disagree and aren't willing to listen. Do not argue here.

Here are some examples of people NOT affected by transmisogyny:
- all dyadic/perisex afab people
- all cis people
- some amab non-binary people

TMA (transmisogyny-affected) and TME (transmisogyny-exempt) are extremely important concepts that should not be watered down into synonyms for "amab" and "afab". These terms specifically reference your relation to the system of oppression that is transmisogyny.

Trans spaces frequently end up being dominated by TMEs, and thus unchecked transmisogyny becomes prevalent. It is very important to prioritize the voices and experiences of those affected by transmisogyny, while accounting for other factors like race, class, and SW experience

There are certain terms which TMA people use to talk about our experiences and identities, and I might get called a gatekeeper over this, but TME people really shouldn't be using them to describe themselves:

It is absolutely okay to talk about the prevalence of transmisogyny from TME trans people, because it is a significant problem. It is absolutely okay to hold TME trans people responsible for unlearning the transmisogyny they've been taught.

Prioritize the voices and experiences of trans women, transfeminine people, and others affected by transmisogyny in your spaces, platforms, and communities.
You need to prove you're not transmisogynistic by being actively anti-transmisogynist.
