BREAKING: President Trump claims election has been 'stolen'.

"If you count the legal votes, I easily win."

But says "illegal votes" are "stealing" his victory.

(There is no evidence of major electoral fraud).
Trump claims mail-in ballots are 'corrupt'.

"It's a corrupt system, it's too easy...It's amazing how those mail-in ballots are so one-sided".

(Again, there is no evidence for this).
"We will not allow corruption to steal the election...they're trying to rig an election", says Trump.

What's striking here is he seems to be in a relatively sober state of mind - this isn't just anger or petulance, it is a calculated strategy to resist the handover of power.
Though Trump also sounds pretty deflated. Does he even believe his own words anymore?
That was an utterly rambling address. President Trump failed to cite one concrete piece of evidence to back his claims of electoral fraud. Perhaps telling that he took no questions from journalists.
Republicans seem increasingly embarrassed by Trump's claims. Even @RickSantorum, who's been defending Trump, just said on CNN it's time for the party to tell him to cool it.

"I don't want him to draw these conclusions when he doesn't have the evidence to back it up".
