Supreme Court has really ill-served the country. If justices had just ruled 3 weeks ago that courts could not alter state legislature’s election rules, race would be exactly where it is now, but without rhetoric about illegal extension of Election Day. 1/3

Left has itself to blame. There was no reason to extend deadlines for votes to be received. States legislatures were duly solicitous of COVID concerns. No need for courts to fiddle. By doing so, they raised legit concerns that they were enabling fraud. 2/3

At the end of the day, Trump campaign must prove material fraud. But for now, they are able colorably to raise the specter of fraud because Dems promote potential of cheating and Court would not settle rules of election. 3/3
