tbh, 'biological sex' isn't real, and i dont want to make that concession to JKR. the various correlative features that folks of different AGAB's are endowed with have no need to be ascribed to "male" or "female" in any context. even medical.
you tell the doc you have a prostate if that's relevant, you tell the doc you have a cervix if that's relevant, at no point are you required to disclose anything abt gender.
i don't care if the common breaking points are "outliers", it doesn't matter. the outliers get hurt when we pretend there's a binary. if a doctor is supposed to get all the information they need from "shes biologically male" then i can just die of breast cancer i guess
People's physiology is very real, and we have a tangible benefit to naming these things. there are even clusters of correlative features that correspond to assigned gender, but we don't need to dress any of it in pink or blue.
and yes, gendered boxes of medical things are absolutely *not* neutral. calling me biologically male is misgendering me. it's not your business. and even if it was, my endocrinologist saw my fuckign dick and she still calls me Avery. Fuck off.
