1/ Colorado is being led by cultists. I know some bristle at that, but listening to @GovofCO and Dr. Herlihy leaves no doubt in my mind. Even though coronavirus is spreading rapidly, they still believe we have control over it. Let's look at the things they said:
2/ @GovofCO: "Treat every person like they are infected with coronavirus."

He wants you to view your fellow humans as virus transmitters and avoid human interaction.

That isn't normal.
3/ @GovofCO: "This is the darkest period in the history of our state."

Really? Notice the use of apocalyptic language to scare people into compliance.
4/ @GovofCO: "The virus thrives when we become complacent."

Translation: "You are to blame for the spread of coronavirus. This will justify further restrictions and give me the moral authority to try and keep you from human interaction with others."

Not to be outdone...
5/ Dr. Herlihy doubled down on this control mechanism. When asked for her opinion why the cases were up, she led with: "It is spreading because of Covid fatigue."

She has zero evidence to make that claim. None. Only her cultic worldview.
6/ Dr. Herlihy lied when she tied previous spikes in cases to other holidays. @GovofCO lied when he said hospitals were overrun in NY and NJ.
7/ @GovofCO believes that he has the moral authority to tell Coloradans that they have to Zoom in family members for Thanksgiving. Only members of a cult would even think to say, "Yes, dear leader" to that. He described his wisdom as an "intervention." Because, you need it.
8/ When asked about people traveling from out of state, @GovofCO said the travel isn't the issue, the gathering together is. So have your relatives fly to Colorado, but please don't meet with them. Not one member of the media questioned that.
9/ Finally, one of the hallmarks of a cult is the ignoring of the big picture because their members won't question it. @GovofCO says we need to avoid human interaction for November and this will get things back to normal, but will the virus be gone then? No.
10/ @GovofCO full well knows that the case curve might come back down soon and then he can take credit (again) for his pseudoscience restrictions. He is the master of claiming correlation as causation - a true talent in that area.
11/ One last prediction: @GovofCO won't move the state to "Stay at Home" right now or even suggest it because of the recall deadline for signatures on 11/13. After that, all bets are off.
