People are asking me me how I feel about the election and the truth is:

Of course I'm happy that it looks like Biden will win, but...

Half of this country is awful enough to still support trump

Half of this country told minorities to go fuck themselves with their votes

Half of this country is okay with or actively wishes for my trans brothers and sisters having to hide in the shadows

Half of this country thinks it is excusable to solicit foreign interference in our elections

Half of this country voted for white supremacy

Half of this country either thinks leadership on COVID-19 isn't that big of an issue or that it has been handled well

Half of this country see no issue with the President lying constantly

Half of this country wants women's rights to take about 100 years worth of steps back

So yes, if and when the race is called for Joe, I will celebrate, and cry happy tears because I am so damn proud Kamala will be VP, but half of this country is made up of people I will never forgive and I don't know quite how to process that yet.
