I’m going to take this chance to explain to people how racism is perpetuated systematically.
First, no one has to say “Oppress black people” in any law or legislation. Outlawing blatant forms of racism only removes the racism you can see, but the racism that you are ignorant and unaware about is maintained and enforced. Racism is more complicated than someone using slurs
Years ago there was a legal battle going on in Alabama where the city of Gardendale, a town with a population of 88% (at the time) white people was trying to secede from Jefferson County’s school system and make their own city school system. Black people attended Gardendale HS.
However, many black people that attended Gardendale High were not from the town of Gardendale as they came from other communities. Meaning if Gardendale was successful in seceding then black people in those other communities can no longer attend their schools. Yes, segregation...
The town’s All-White city council voted to create a separate school system and then created an All-White school board. in February 2015, the Gardendale school board sent its lawyer to the federal court. They were making their moves.
Gov. John Patterson, in 1958 on a segregationist ticket, vowed that “if a school is ordered to be integrated, then it will be closed down” and this would require sacrifices for white parents but it would hurt black families more because they cannot afford private schools.
Now even after Brown v Board of Education passed you still had White Supremacists attempt ways to keep schools segregated. Alabama State officials helped establish taxpayer-subsidized private white schools, known as segregation academies.
Now think about the conditions black people were living in compared to their white counterparts and even think before the 1900’s as black people were literal slaves. Worse quality of education, worse living conditions and behind financially. This is all again perpetuated.
As white people benefitted from slavery and our oppression they benefitted by using that money to create schools that would exclude us, build roads that would displace us, and vote in presidents that would hate us. A system created by racists IS GOING 2 BE RACIST!That’s the point
Another case is Lakeith Smith. In Alabama (again) they have accomplice laws. In their criminal justice policy basically if you are committing an act (like a robbery) and an officer kills your friend during that you are charged with the death of your friend while the officer is ok
This is a situation where officers can put black people in jail by simply killing black people because the point is to stop crime in which we are the creators of because the society we live in is Anti-Black. Pete Buttigieg admitted he targeted black people cuz weed = criminal...

White people say #ACAB to not use any of their resources or privilege to dismantle & abolish the police while also empowering black voices by listening and giving us the right to express what we want for once and not you dictating what is best for us.
You may feel like an ally while exploiting black people. A white person would say “On Fleek” to market themselves better and profit while the black woman who made that phrase you capitalize off of gets NOTHING!
