Best teamsLooking at teams by best xGC and big chances conceded below, these are the DEF I believe are reliable:

Robbo & TAA top this. Many are thinking of selling these too but I will keep faith

For final 3rd touches, behind Robbo. I like James but he's a rotation risk. Zouma is great value but can't keep up this rate of scoring, although he's a BPS magnet. But Chilwell is worth the splurge

Way in but lacks goal threat. Cancelo looks brill down the left and created 4 chances against SHU. But he's a rotation risk. Walker is more pricey and also prone to Pep roulette and Xmas is nearing...

Mings is 4th for defenders for shots with 6. Konsa is on 3. But budget pick Targett has an OK XGI of 0.67 ahead of Konsa's 0.45. AVL DEF strong, but don't double up

BrightonLamptey is 5th out of defenders for final 3rd touches and is getting in dangerous positions, helping him to 1
and 3 already. BRI defence stats and Ryan being dropped may see more CS soon. A great pick IMO West HamGreat fixtures, great defensive stats...
And many attacking defence options. Usually a flakey team but now their defence is exciting. With Cresswell on set pieces and you're fine with the extra fee, he's your man. He's created the most chances out of defenders with 13, 2 o/w were big.

He's created 6 chances, 2 big and has had 5 shots. He trumps Coufal who despite his 2 has only 1 shot and created 3 chances from his 4 games. There's fears though if WHU revert to a back 4 Masuaka will be the one to make way. So he has some risk, but at £4.5m he could be gold

BurnleyIf you like vanilla ice cream then Taylor is your man. Burnley have great defensive stats, although they played a game less. Taylor offers some attacking potential, but you're really buying him just for CS potential, don't kid yourself!
My pickI've money ITB and I'm going to splash the cash with Chilwell
